Guide to Fitting Sizes
On this page, we will be defining many of the standard thread pitches, fitting sizes, and other helpful plumbing related specs that you will need when building your car.
Many of these required fittings can be found in our Fittings and Fasteners section!
Xona Rotor:- Oil Inlet: 7/16-24 inverted flare to -4an for all universal fit Xona Rotor turbochargers. Application specific Xona units such as our Evo XR Black generally use the factory style fitting for the vehicle.
- Coolant Ports: Gen1 (machined stainless) M14x1.5, Gen2 (lightweight cast stainless, current production) M10x1.0
- Drain: GT35 Style Drain. 1.5" bolt spacing M8x1.25 bolts. Anything made specifically for 35R fitment will fit a Xona universal fit turbocharger, -10an drain preferred.
- Boost reference port on the compressor housing is 1/8 NPT.
FP6875, 7275, and 7875:
- Oil Inlet: 1/8NPT, we recommend a full flow -4an feed.
- Drain: T3/T4 Style Drain. This uses a 2" bolt spacing, M8X1.25 bolts with a rectangular drain hole. Anything made specifically for T3/T4 fitment will fit these turbos. Do not use smaller than -10an drain.
S400, FP400, and HD400:
- Oil Inlet: 1/4NPT, we recommend a full flow -6an feed for race applications. Low boost street usage with good oil pressure will allow for a -4an feed.
- Drain: S400 fitment drain, this has a 2" bolt spacing with a large circular drain hole. Anything that fits S400 will fit these turbos. Do not use smaller than -12an.
FP Application Specific Turbos:
Subaru EJ:
- Oil Inlet: These have been built with both M10X1.5 and M12x1.25 Inlets over the years. Please verify if you are ordering new fittings.
- Coolant Ports: Custom hard pipes available as a kit, M14x1.5 fitting size.
- Oil Drain: Stock style, 1.5" bolt spacing custom hard pipe drain with M6 bolt for journal bearing and small ball bearing units, M8 bolt for larger ball bearing units.
Subaru FA20:
- Oil Inlet: These have been built with both M10X1.5 and M12x1.25 Inlets over the years. Please verify if you are ordering new fittings.
- Coolant Ports: Custom hard pipes available as a kit, M14x1.5 fitting size.
- Drain: Stock style, 1.5" bolt spacing, designed to be used with the factory sump tank using oem style gasket.
DSM/Evo:
- Oil Inlet: M12x1.25, same as stock (excluding 2g's)
- Coolant Ports: Stock location, stock size, M14x1.5 designed to use factory hard lines with potential mild modification.
- Oil Drain: Standard TD05/6 drain flange, 1.5" spacing M6 bolts designed to reuse factory drain or aftermarket factory fitment.
