We wanted to build an affordable ball bearing Blue that was tolerant to the extreme range of oil pressures we see on Subaru engines. From this quest, the Low Oil Pressure Endurance (L.O.P.E.) Ball Bearing units were born. We have tested this robust bearing pack on everything from 120+ psi balance shaft deleted 4g63's down to sad 7psi hot idle EJ25's and everything in between. These are insensitive to pressure issues and oil pickup problems in high g force applications and will live a very long life in adverse conditions compared to a journal bearing turbo.

The FA20 Blue™ turbocharger for the 2015+ Subaru WRX features the 73mm HTZ™ compressor wheel with a stock fitment, stock appearing cover coupled to the 10cm2 turbine section. This bolt on solution produces a great balance of spool and power and gives you the enhanced durability of the L.O.P.E. Cast Ball Bearing CHRA. The FA20 Blue™ flows 57LB a minute and is capable of producing upwards of 475WHP. This turbo comes with an oil line and gasket set, giving you everything you need to bolt it straight onto your car. The factory oil drain sump will be kept and reused, it is shown in pictures for fitment only and is not included.
The Dyno Graph in the pictures is a 2015 WRX tuned by Clark Turner.
Note: The FA20 Blue is developed specifically for the 2015+ WRX platform, it will not fit any other platform with the FA20 motor. Additionally it will not fit any vehicle with the EJ series of motors.
